CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Client Service Agreement (the "Agreement") is entered into between:

Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers (Unit 2, South Viaduct, St James Lane, Muswell Hill, London, N10 3QX)
and
The Client (the person booking the services).

The Client wishes to receive grooming and related services (the "Services") from Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers, and agrees to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.

1. Term of Agreement

1.1 This Agreement commences on the date it is signed, or if no signature is provided, on the date the Client attends their first appointment.
1.2 Attending an appointment at Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, with its employees, or with a professional independent licensee groomer will be considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
1.3 This Agreement may be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of the Parties.
1.4 Except as expressly stated in this Agreement, all obligations of Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers end upon termination of this Agreement.

2. Pet Health

2.1 The Client must inform Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, or professional independent licensee groomers of any known health issues or conditions affecting their pet, including but not limited to: marks, warts, ear or stomach problems, food allergies, or allergies to grooming products. Any recent surgery or illness must also be disclosed at the time of booking.
2.2 Pets must be up-to-date on all vaccinations as required by law, including treatments for kennel cough, worms, and fleas. Unvaccinated pets cannot be accepted for services.
2.3 Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers prioritize the welfare of pets. In the event of illness or injury, a veterinarian may be called or the pet taken to a local veterinary practice. All associated costs are the responsibility of the Client.
2.4 The Client is strongly advised to insure their pet under a reputable pet insurance policy, including third-party liability coverage in case of injury caused by the pet.
2.5 The Client authorizes Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers to take the pet to the Client’s nominated veterinarian in emergencies. If this is not possible, the pet may be taken to the nearest available emergency veterinary practice.
2.6 All veterinary and related costs, including travel and service charges incurred during an emergency, must be reimbursed to Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers within 7 days of the incident.
2.7 Pets must not be sedated for grooming services. Female pets in season should not be booked for services.
2.8 Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers will not be liable for injury, illness, or death caused by factors outside their control, including pre-existing conditions or indirect consequences.

3. Safety

3.1 Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a risk to itself, other pets, staff, or the public.
3.2 Additional fees may apply for pets requiring extra attention or care, e.g., aggressive pets requiring two staff members or extended time.
3.3 Pets may be fitted with a soft muzzle at the discretion of Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, or professional independent licensee groomers for safety.
3.4 The Client is responsible for informing Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers if their pet is prone to snapping, biting, or has sensitivities to touch.
3.5 The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers from any claims or expenses arising from the pet’s behaviour, including injury, property damage, or death.
3.6 Pets must wear a secure collar, lead, and identity tag with the Client’s contact information.

4. Grooming Services

4.1 Grooming may reveal underlying skin or health issues. Clients will be notified of any concerns by Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, or professional independent licensee groomers. Severe conditions may require veterinary treatment, and medications must be brought to subsequent appointments.
4.2 Nail clipping may occasionally expose the quick, causing minor bleeding. This will be addressed during the groom and communicated to the Client.
4.3 De-matting incurs an additional fee (maximum of £20 per 20 minutes). Multiple sessions or shaving may be required, particularly for elderly, infirm, or severely matted pets. Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers are not liable for the pet’s appearance, skin injuries, or discomfort resulting from necessary grooming.
4.4 Grooming may end early if the pet becomes stressed or exhausted. Full payment for the session is due, with additional charges for subsequent sessions if required.
4.5 Clients must provide specific instructions regarding coat length, paw trimming, and any other preferences. If no instructions are given, the groomer will act at their discretion, following breed standards or what is best for the pet.
4.6 Representatives collecting pets on behalf of the Client must be informed of the pet’s health, vaccinations, and services required and must be able to make full payment if necessary.

5. Complaints & Liability

5.1 Any concerns about the service must be raised within 48 hours of completion. After this period, Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers are not responsible for veterinary costs, refunds, or other claims.
5.2 The Client is responsible for inspecting their pet before leaving the premises and reporting any issues immediately.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice.Late cancellations incur a 50% fee of the scheduled service.
6.2 Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to rebook, subject to the cancellation fee.
6.3 “No-show” appointments incur a fee equal to the full cost of the service.

7. Payment

7.1 Payment is due in full upon collection of the pet.
7.2 Services are charged according to the current Clique Pet Grooming Ltd Price List, which can be updated at the company’s, its employees`, and professional independent licensee groomers` discretion.
7.3 Clients are required to provide valid card details to be kept securely on file. These details will be used for payment of services, cancellation fees, “no-show” fees, and any additional charges incurred.
7.4 Payments made via secure link must be completed within 24 hours. Late payments may incur interest at the discretion of Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers.
7.5 By providing card details, the Client authorizes Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers to process payments for the agreed services, including any applicable fees or additional charges.

By attending an appointment or signing this Agreement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions in full and authorizes Clique Pet Grooming Ltd, its employees, and professional independent licensee groomers to provide services for their pet(s).
